The University of Bordeaux confirms that Crous scholarship recipients are automatically detected on the platform and can download their certificate without incurring any costs.

This mechanism also applies at the University of Pau, where automatically detected scholarship recipients directly download a payment certificate. This means that a scholarship recipient does not have to select a payment method or go through the payment screen. The platform directly switches to generating the certificate.

Lost CVEC number or missing certificate: quick recovery
The CVEC number is not sent by mail. It appears exclusively on the certificate downloadable from the cvec.etudiant.gouv.fr portal, in the student’s personal space. The certificate remains accessible as long as the student account exists, even after the end of the concerned academic year.
To retrieve a certificate:
- Log in to the cvec.etudiant.gouv.fr portal with your messervices.etudiant.gouv.fr credentials.
- Access the history of certificates in the CVEC space.
- Download the PDF corresponding to the targeted academic year.
- Check that the number corresponds to the current enrollment year.
If access to the account is lost (obsolete email address, forgotten password), the reset is done through messervices.etudiant.gouv.fr. As a last resort, the relevant Crous office can intervene to unlock access, but processing times lengthen during the enrollment period.
A student who submits a CVEC number from a previous year will have their registration rejected by the institution. Each academic year requires a new CVEC certificate, even in the case of repeating or reorienting within the same institution.
